File Handling summary 14/2/14

In my track i have used MIDI and MP3 files i have made some drum beats using the MIDI files and found others and an accapella which i had to chop and move into different parts of the track to keep it in sync as it was 2bpm slower then my track was going

File Handling

Today we have done file handling we did this using the sources sound cloud and youtube, we used the formats MIDI and MP3 most websites i used worked however soundsnap audiosparx and freeloops didn't work as some were unclear on how to download from them and some asked to pay the quality of the tracks i downloaded were varied most of them ranging from 128kbs-320kbs.

Role Model 6/2/4

My role model is my friend jordan as he is a extremely good influence on me he keeps me out of trouble and does everything he can to help me make the right decisions e.g. a few weeks ago someone started to annoy me while i was with him and i was about to start a fight but jordan pulled me away from them and stopped me from making that stupid mistake he also supports me through hard times in my life like when i went to live with my dad and me and my mum started arguing so we stopped talking for a few weeks he helped me cope with it he also knows when to back off so we don't fall out and stop talking to each other like we had done in the past.

I think that the way i have be brought up has effected the way i am e.g. i think a lot like my dad at times but at the same time i am quite often different to both my parents, also i think they have helped me create my own thoughts on religion as my mum is a roman catholic and my dad is a atheist and i am somewhere in the middle of this i don't think god is real but at he same time i do think there is something like heaven and hell but i see them as different to other people, i think that if you don't commit many sins in life you go to heaven but if you don't then you are re-incarnated to correct those sins.

2.1.I think that in the wider media e.g. pop stars or models or actors in most cases are always pushed into being thin and glamourous it looks to be the thiner you are the better you are but they are always thought to have something to hide weather it be a partner which is a good thing to them being a drug addict which is a horrible thing the media always think there's something to uncover no matter what it is and who they are. I chose this group of people because music is a big part of my life and the direction i want to move in also pop stars are the most pushed in the media to other music stars. This can effect the younger children who look up to this type of people and make them their idols they may want to look a little like that person and try making themselves thiner in some cases this is not bad some people may just go a a simple diet but sometimes this is very dangerous as it causes some young children to end up anorexic.
